Skeet
- Eye and ear protection is mandatory on the ranges when shooting is in progress.
- Shoot only during daylight hours.
- Use of alcohol or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited any time while on club property.
- Fully automatic firearms are not allowed on any range.
- Treat every gun as if it were loaded. Keep barrel pointed in a safe direction.
- While in the gun rack, guns should be unloaded and actions open on autos and pumps. When removed from the rack, guns should be open for transport to the firing line or elsewhere.
- Personal vehicles are not allowed down range. Only licensed drivers may operate RCGC vehicles.
- Do not attempt to operate the skeet machines until you have been instructed on the proper procedure for safe start up and shut down.
- Guns must be open when moving to and from a field and when walking between stations.
- Guns must not be loaded until you are on a shooting station and it is your turn to shoot.
- Do not load more than TWO shells at any time while shooting Stations 1-7. Load only ONE shell at Station 8 unless shooting a low 8 option.
- No shot larger than 7 ½ is permitted.
- Do not pick up hulls during a round of skeet.
- Do not walk in front of the low house while the release mechanism is in the hands of the puller or if the trap is not properly disabled.
- After shooting, pick up your hulls and dispose of properly. Do not pick up hulls on Station 7 until the low house skeet machine is released and unplugged.
- Skeet machines should be de-cocked, filled with targets and skeet house door closed when done shooting. Target box cardboard is to be broken down and taken to the trash dumpster.
- No one under the age of 16 is allowed in any skeet house.
- Record the number of rounds you shoot in the Skeet Stat house logbook and make prompt payment.
- First aid supplies and AED are available in the Skeet Stat House.

- Do not load more than TWO shells at any time. You are allowed to shoot twice at any single target presentation.
- No shot larger than 7 ½ is permitted.
- Do not pick up hulls during a round of Five Stand.
- After shooting, pick up your hulls and dispose of properly.
- Do not reload the traps or walk beyond the shooting stands. Never stand in front of a trap.
- Record the number of rounds you shoot in the Skeet Stat house logbook and make prompt payment.
- First aid supplies and AED are available in the Skeet Stat House.
Failure to comply to these rules or any unsafe behavior may result in your suspension or expulsion from RCGC.
