Ricky Allen's mother Gloria “Sunshine” Talley Woodson, 84, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sat., June 15th at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. The family request memorial contributions be made to Lawsonville Road Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, North Carolina 27375. Jerry Grogan's mother passed away early Saturday morning, 5/26, after an extended illness. Visitation will be Tues. 5/28 from 6-8PM at Boone And Cooke funeral home on Washington Street in Eden. Funeral service will be Wed. Greg Simons, age 44, son of Club member Dave Simons, passed away May 6, 2013 due to heart failure. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Heart Association. Otis (OB) Andrews, age 85, died Monday March 18, 2013. OB was a long time hunter and clay target shooter. For many years, a number of us enjoyed sharing a blind or competing with him at skeet and trapshoots. The Triad Cremation Society is handling his cremation. Barbara Shaffer, age 71, beloved wife of Club member Roger Shaffer died on Jan. 31, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 5, at Wilkerson Funeral Home. There will be a private burial after the service in a local cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, February 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at her home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Reidsville Christian Church Building Fund, 2020 S. Park Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320 or the Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320. Wayne Jones, age 63, died on July 11, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Friday, July 13 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Greensboro. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington. Mr. Jones will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8 PM. Chapman St., Greensboro, NC 27403 John Warner, 80 of Reidsville died on May 31st, 2012. John was a Charter Member of RCGC and was instrumental in the purchase of the land on which the club is located. Memorials may be made to: Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O.
