FREE Competition Pistol Training Sessions
Learn
what to you need to know to shoot in an IDPA (International Defensive
Pistol Assoc.) or USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Assoc.) style
competition. The course is being taught by club member Irvin Earles on
Sat., Feb. 18th and again on Sat., Mar.10th from 9:30AM ‘til 1:00PM,
weather permitting.
He will stress safety and technique.
You will need to bring eye and hearing protection, your UNLOADED weapon (9mm semi auto or larger OR .38 revolver or larger), holster, at least 2 magazines or speed loaders, mag/speed loader pouch and at least 200 rounds of ammunition.

Concealed Carry Handgun Class
RCGC
is proud to offer Concealed Carry Handgun classes to members and their
immediate families, at a greatly reduced rate. Participants who
successfully complete the class will receive a certificate which will
allow them to apply for an NC-CCH permit.
The one-day, 9-hour course will be held on Sat., March 17th and is open to the first 20 people who sign up. The course, which will be taught by certified instructor Tommy Massey, will begin at 8:00 a.m. SHARP, and end at 5:30 p.m. There will be a short break for lunch. Bring your own lunch and drinks. The course handbook and targets will be provided.
Bring $40 cash or a check made payable to RCGC. You will need your club ID badge in order to register. Also bring an UNLOADED handgun (a rental will be available for $10, upon request), holster, at least 30 rounds of ammunition plus hearing and eye protection. The class will begin at the club office and will conclude on Pistol Pit #1.

ALL RANGES WILL BE CLOSED TO SHOOTING. Bring any tools you think might be useful. We will be mowing and trimming as well as replacing backer boards. Range Directors - Please notify Ron and Lil of other projects so they can be posted on the website. As always - NO SHOOTING until the ALL CLEAR when all work has been completed.
